How do you photograph families?
By telling your family's story. I may need some time to build rapport with the younger kiddos, that's to be expected. Then it's all about capturing the love, togetherness and connection of your family! We will explore, run, play and snuggle. Allow yourself to be uninhibited and come with an open mind...and heart.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a small town...Harrison City. I currently only travel for weddings. By keeping my sessions local, I can offer you a streamlined experience with minimal travel costs.
When will we get our photos?
Digital photos will be provided via an online gallery available for download no later than 10 weeks after the shoot date for weddings and 6 weeks after the shoot date for all other session types...sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!
Is there a deposit/retainer due?
A 50% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking with the remainder due 7 days prior to the scheduled photo session.
What is the photo selection and delivery process?
After our photo session, I handpick the final images from the session and work with each selection to bring it to its full potential. I then provide you the number of images agreed upon (based on the session chosen) via an online gallery that can be shared and downloaded. The gallery link is available for two weeks from the date of delivery.
Do you have a studio?
I do! I have a small studio in my home with 7-foot seamless paper backdrops that I offer in a variety of colors. I take advantage of the natural light coming in the window for these sessions, which makes 10am the best start time.
